Candidates will need previous experience in a private household with longevity in a similar role, and have excellent housekeeping and culinary skills. 

Working alongside and overseeing the work of two cleaners, the housekeeper will have overall responsibility for cooking for the family and their guests as well as laundry, wardrobe management, cleaning, and organisation in the home. 

The cooking will involve a varied menu that includes fresh, local and seasonal produce from the kitchen garden.

Thursday to Monday, 50 hrs per week, with flexibility when required. 

Large, self-contained & renovated flat provided (bills covered).

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

• Preparing and cooking excellent dishes for the family & dinner parties

• Ensuring the pantry and fridge are stocked, inventory management

• Cleaning, polishing, laundry and oversight of the cleaners

• Keeping on top of cleaning supplies & other household items

• Care for antique furniture and fabrics

• Errand running and weekly shopping - driving licence required

• Liaising with tradesmen and the wider team

• Pet care for a puppy – feeding, walking, etc.

• Willingness to provide occasional babysitting with time off in lieu.

SALARY: 

Up to £42,500.00 per year depending on experience
