The Master’s Lodge Housekeeper
Applications are invited for the prestigious role of Master’s Lodge Housekeeper at Gonville and Caius College, a college of the University of Cambridge.
The responsibilities centre around the presentation, care and maintenance of the Lodge, and its great facilities, in support of the wider activities of the Master of the College. In addition, you will be required to welcome and provide hospitality support to those visitors that stay at the Lodge from time to time. These may range from breakfasts, teas/coffees, small lunches to occasional early evening drinks where the Master requests.
The successful person is expected to work 25 hours per week normally, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 2pm with occasional attendance in the afternoons, and weekends with prior agreement. A further 5 hours per week on a more variable basis is required under the supplementary job description to support the current Master’s household
The salary for this post is £10.00 per hour. (FTE £20,856 @40 hours). For 25 +5 supplementary hours this equates to £15,642 per annum.
