A private household in Hampshire near Winchester require a housekeeper/cook for a live-out position, working four days per week. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the household.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are highly valued. Strong attention to detail, proactiveness and discretion is essential for this position. This is a long-term opportunity for the right person who will take pride in caring for a beautiful, well-run 11 bedroom home which has one large dog.

Responsibilities: Daily and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe & shoe care. Household organisation and occasional supervision of contractors. Support the house manager with visiting guests. Assist with serving breakfast, lunches and dinners for principals and parties as and when required. Cooking of healthy meals for the family and visiting friends. Work alongside the current housekeeper and work alternate weekends when the family are in residence.

Fluent spoken and written English. DBS check.
